Ugh. really tough day at work today, so I have a throbbing headache tonight. My head means I'm just not in the mood for any challenging music this evening, so a CD of Benjamin Britten's cello suites performed by Mstislav Rostropovich is playing very very quietly behind me. I'm sure there could be readers out there who feel most disgusted that I might consider this music "unchallenging" but tough, I don't care tonight ;) Its really beautiful though, a CD recommended to me by someone (probably an Irish someone though I don't precisely remember) and easily my favourite Britten recording.
