LexerSchillerTonight after a hectic start to the day I made the journey over into London once again, and down to New Cross for another Interlace concert at Goldsmiths. Three sets this time, all quite different and all enjoyable, some more than others. I’m not going to write up the concert tonight as its 1AM and I have to be up for work in the morning, but for now a thanks to all of the musicians whose company I shared this evening, and to Simon Reynell for the drink and lift back across London to catch my train. The pic just to the left then is of the duo of Sebastian Lexer and Chistoph Schiller, playing piano+ and spinet respectively, and a wonderful performance they gave indeed. We were also treated to a Phil Durrant, Aleks Kolkowski, David Toop trio and another involving David O’Connor, Ute Kanngiesser and Eddie Prevost. More on them all tomorrow.

Sorry for the brief post then. I’m off to bed. For those in or near London, here is the programme for this year’s Freedom of the City Festival.
