No review again tonight I’m afraid. My wonderful girlfriend knows me well, and so after I was up at six this morning (Haven’t had to do that in ages and was afraid of oversleeping) she invited me over straight from a long and tiring bank holiday shift at work, had a hot bath running, a chilled bottle of pear and ginger cider to hand and a wonderful roast dinner in the oven. I could always get one of Julie’s CDs and review it for you tonight, but I suspect that I might not have the right approach to music writing to really do it justice. Often when I come over to see Julie I then head home to listen and write late on, but tonight, cider in hand, we are going to try and plan and book our week away travelling around Ireland in October… at least we will do if we don’t open another bottle of cider or two. I was tempted to let Julie write this post tonight while I started looking at our trip, but she told me to crack on and write it while she sits next to me impatiently sloshing cider around in the bottom of a bottle waiting for me to finish. So, I’d best go. Apologies for another content-free post.

Sounds like much more fun than listening to difficult music.

    Enjoy your night.

lovely ! that sounds fantastic indeed.

I reckon a random review of something you find yourself listening to via Julie would be very interesting actually – to hear how you perceive the music, the sound etc. After all if someone puts on a noise festival for example then it’d be an idea to book an xfactor winner – that will truly be noise to the people attending – the actual ‘noise’ acts will just be conforming to the genre anyway no doubt :)
