No post tonight as taking an evening’s break from writing, though there is music playing in the background as I type. I’m tired and am going in to work early tomorrow morning so I am going to do something really unusual and get to bed early. Seeing as I can’t think of anything else of interest to write about tonight, I will draw the attention of UK based readers to the forthcoming tour by Jason Kahn, who will be in the UK for more than two weeks in February, and will be playing no fewer than ten concerts in different cities about the place. Jason doesn’t visit these shores often, and I recommend getting along to wherever your most local concert is if you can. Even residents of deepest Cornwall have no excuses this time… For details of the entire tour see Jason’s list of forthcoming gigs here. I have preliminary plans to get to the concerts in Brighton, Oxford, Bristol and at least one of the London dates.
Now, I have little else to offer this evening, so I am going to make a cup of Horlicks and take a book to bed (currently reading a collection of stories by Vladimir Nabokov) and see if I can fall asleep with the light on, something I manage to do at least once a week. Tonight’s photo was taken last weekend, while walking alongside a river in Cambridgeshire, not really paying much attention to what the camera was pointing at while partaking in a passionate discussion about human nature and ducks.
